HOW DO YOU FIX WINDOW

(1990 Chevrolet S10)
the truck is actually an 87. anyway, the passenger side window dropped down and we couldn't roll it back up. well we got it up but it won't stay and when we try to roll it down it goes down crooked. any ideas how to fix it? thanks

regulator is bad. go to a parts store and see if they can get you a new one. it sounds like a manual window. it may be difficult to locate that due to its age.

ok, thanks...something we could get from a junk yard?? it is a manual window. do you think it would be better to just get the door replaced? we found a few in local junk yards but haven't looked at them yet.

i had this same problem on driver side window , i took it to a window replacing place and there was a clip missing on the front of the window and it was causing the window to drop down , the clip was in the front part of the window and hard to see that it was gone but they recognized the problem , very inexpensive and what a relief to beable to roll down window. my pickup is a 99
