How do you drop the drive shaft after removing the bolts? its a 1988 not 1990

(1990 Lincoln Town Car)

wont release it has a lip or something wont release from differential

Spray it down good with WD-40 then let it sit for awhile, tap it with a hammer, not beat on it, as not to damage or bend it, should come right off! It's just stuck and needs an attitude adjustment!

I wolud stick pry bar in it and pry it towards the tranny
