How do i figure out if my front diff is gone in my Chevy silverado

(1999 Chevrolet C1500)
OK my Chevy pick up started making this rumbling noise like a bad wheel bearing going down the road I replace the hub inner bearing on the front DIff and the seal. Still nice the steering wheel vibrates little bit and I could feel it on the floor near my feet so I started to think I pressed the dashboard 4 x 4 button from 2 to 4 hot and Exceller rated the noise got more pronounced then I shifted from that for long when I gave it some acceleration the noise really got pronounced my question is it my front differential or is it the transfer case tell me what to do to troubleshoot it and diagnose thank you it's a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 4 x 4 5.3 L
What seems to make the problem better or worse? Acceleration and when I accelerate put it into 4 hi 4 low
How long have you had this problem? Two weeks how much
