After engine has reached normal operating temperature .. Are *BOTH* of the heater hoses as HOT as the top radiator hose is?

With engine fully warmed up - It should be uncomfortable (too hot) to hold onto either of the heater hoses for more than a few seconds.

check the coolant level when the engine is cold...if it's not full, you will get very little,or no heat.
