Hot lead wire

(1999 Ford Expedition)

I was told my "hot lead wire" going from the batt. to the starter solenoid was burnt in half :( how do i change this and does it cost alot?

not super difficult,a little time consuming.just routing the cable is probably the hardest part.we charge 2 hrs labor to do careful to route away from any hot far as cost is concerned,not sure on part your local ford dealer and they can give an estimate.
