In a crash that deploys the air bag, the driver side air bag may deploy with excessive pressure. The air bag inflator can rupture, and can cause metal fragments to strike and potentially injure occupants.

Honda will notify owners of affected vehicles (a notification timeline has not been released as of the time of this writing). You can contact your dealership to see if your vehicle is affected. It is helpful to have your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on hand when you contact them.
