RepairPal Expert Overview on September 22, 2010

In states where deicing material is used for road surfaces, corrosion can build up on the rear suspension components, and cause a lower link bracket to break. This can cause adverse handling and result in loss of vehicle control.

Isuzu and Honda notified owners of affected vehicles starting in December 2010. You can check with your dealer to see if your vehicle is involved in this program. It is helpful to have your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on hand when you contact them.
