On March 14, 2014, Honda recalled 886,815 Honda Odyssey. American honda motor co., inc. (honda) is recalling certain 2005-2010 honda odyssey vehicles manufactured june 23, 2004, through september 4, 2010. in the affected vehicles, the fuel pump strainer cover may deteriorate allowing fuel to leak out.

A fuel leak may develop form the area of the fuel tank were the fuel pump cover is located.

Honda will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning in April, 2014. If you don't receive notification you feel you should have, please contact your dealer for further instruction. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call. The Honda recall number are JD9 for inspection and preliminary part replacement and JE0 for final part replacement.
