New radiator belt. When driving, esp on a hot day, car's temp will go from regular to in b/t the temp. icon and high. Will steadily rise while sitting in traffic or in a parking lot. Or going slower down a small street with traffic. As soon as I start driving again, temp goes back to normal within a minute or two. But usually I have to be driving 40+ at a steady pace for it to go down. When I take my key out of the ignition it's very hot. What is going on with my car?
While I am driving along at 40-50 mph, I am experiencing frequent slight jerks in my steering along with a bumping or cracking sound in the front end. I am having the rack replaced because of excess play in the steering, but I have doubts that could be causing the cracking and jerking in my steering.

The vehicle has 213,000 miles and has been dealership serviced since new. Timing belt was changed at 120,000 and appears to still be in good shape. The vehicle sat for about a year and a half. When driving it on the highway for an hour or so the Check engine light came on and the vehicle died. Got it to an Auto Zone and code came back P0341 (running extremely rough no power). Changed the Cam Positioning sensor in the parking lot. Drove 20 min and code cleared. Its now been 3,000 miles and the light is back on intermittently (same code). This began in cold temps if that helps. Open to any and all advice...Thanks
