You need to determine whether the engine is loosing electrical supply/power to sensors/ignition/fuel system. Problems like this I tee in a fuel pressure gauge tape it to the windscreen see if you are loosing fuel pressure when the engine fails or wont start, I bring a timing light and see if I have spark when the car wont start (unlikely all the coils fail at the same time but you need to know if you are loosing spark or if the coils are getting triggered/producing spark when the engine fails. It's hard to give advice without being able to see the car first hand in a failed state and do some basic tests. Autozone have some popular workshop manuals for free on line once you register (for free) on their website There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... Alldata is very easy to navigate
May have a bad fuel pump, but hard to rule out anything without doing basic tests.
