Heater resister keeps burning out

(1999 Chevrolet S10)

replaced resister it would not work on high burned out 3 of them

This may be due to the blower motor. If the motor is pulling too many amps it will burn out the resistor. You would need an ammeter that can read up to 10-15 amps to check this, and you need to know the amperage rating of a "normal" motor so you can compare the two.
