Heater / Blower Fan won't work.

(2001 Dodge Dakota)
in Tomah, WI on March 27, 2011
Heater fan will not work in any position. The Resistor was replaced a year ago and was working fine, until now. The fuses appear to be good.

Ok so it's super easy to change the blower motor/resistor/pigtails ect... but I don't care to do it once a year... does anyone know what a common problem is causing these parts to fail?
