when running heater there is a noise like a fan or a compressor running but its runs shuts off contiually ,its not the heater fan because that is continually running at the same time the noise will stop when i turn off the heater ,what is that?

The AC compressor will run with the heater on in most settings. The only setting that will not turn the compressor on is the "Floor" setting. Otherwise, the compressor is always working to keep humidity out of the interior...to hopefully help clear up windshield moisture, etc.

You are likely hearing the cycling of the compressor.
