The most likely cause for the AC to stop working on your 1990 Buick LeSabre is the system is low on charge due to a refrigerant leak. If the system is low on charge, adding refrigerant will can get the system up and running again. This may only be a temporary repair, If a leak is present it will need to be repaired or the AC will stop working again when the new refrigerant leaks out.
