I have a 1990 Honda Prelude and the lenses won't lower themselves after I shut the lights off; where should I begin to look for the problem?

The first place I look for this issue is the switch on the dash that keeps them up. Surprisingly many customers didn't know that there was a switch on the dash and bumped it my accident not realizing what they had done. To this day I don't see a lot of problems with the headlight systems on the Accord or Prelude. When I do it's typically been with one side only and usually after some type of impact. If it's not the switch on the dash then a service manual, electronic troubleshooting manual and a good multimeter will be needed to diagnose the system.
