"just a few bolts and a gasket" is why quality control is so poor these days---your mentality....IF it's so easy start your own revolution by fixing your own damn car!! THEN bring it to someone who has already fought the war , to have them fix it right!.......good luck soldier!.....

I think the dealer wants thousand of dollars to repair your car, not GM. I do agree the government rips us off. But, that's another story. The labor time to replace on cylinder is over 19 hours. Most dealers charge at least $100 an hours. It's a pretty big job to do it correctly. Sorry!
