'IF' you're positive the fuel pump is working (?) .. Got to check the actual 'fuel pressure' next! .. Pretty easy to do but need a fuel pressure test gauge.

I got the explorer used they had put new pump and filter on.. Was not running.. When I took the checked relay fuse and fuse.. Getting spark. Looked at fuel. None. Pulled off filter no no pressure in line or add filter no fuel in filter

I can hear fuel pump when cycling the key off and on

Evidently the fuel pump just isn't pumping gas! .. I reckon there is enough gas in the tank, right?

Yes put an extra 5 gal in to make sure there was gas and if gage was off so yes I'll put gas in the tank

Well since the pump is running with key cycle .. Must be a defective pump in the tank or it wasn't installed properly .. That's the only thing I can think of.. Just thought of another very good possibility .. They installed just the pump and the rubber hose that connects the pump to the sending unit is either busted or loose!! That's the problem I'll bet ya!

Yes I will I will fluid. But ill try it.. Thanks. You may be right about pump not installed right.. It was a abandoned I got it from the tow company so I don't know who put the pump in.. But checked out getting spark off plugs ever thing work.. Thought it was pat systom.. Because not original key.. But it's turning over good.. Just no fuel.. So I'm at a lost..

Well the pump is running so it should pump gas! .. Read my last reply again, I had another thought... Pump is running but just pumping gas back into the tank from the rubber hose that not connected right or busted... You going to have to pull the tank and check the pump!
