Have a 1988 F250 with an ignition issue

code at Auto Zone said PIP code 14 ignition malfunction. Replaced ignition module but that did not fix the problem. Stop when hot. Starts up cold fine. What does that code mean? They don't seem to know

there is a reluctor in the distributor that has many issues. I recommend replacing the entire distributor with a re man. Ford also recommends replacing the coil with this repair.

Understand Autozone sells parts they are not Mechanics. Roy is correct with his statement. Replace the distributor and ignition coil.
