Q: Hard starting found P0122 code Throttle/pedal position sensor A circut low input on 2005 Chevrolet Aveo

Rookie cbe0621eac06868b3efe0d8d1d3611e23c60d3114864ea2ec19a68cfbd3eebab
What is the most common cause? Having trouble on cold starts. Car sits for 8-10 hours at work and even on warm days it is hard to start and then skips and studders for a few seconds before leveling out and runs okay. Problem started shortly after the engine overheated due to water inlet splitting open.

could be a fuel pump losing its prime when you go to start it turn the key on and off three times that will build up your fuel preessure
Thanks for the tip. I have tried that at the suggestion of my dad. Didn't make any improvement. It seems as if what ever mechinisim is supposed to act like a choke (like on the old model cars)is not working. I did get one error P0122 recently indication low voltage on the Throttle or pedel positioning Sensor (TPS). One fix recommend ajusting the throttle sensor. Mine does not seem to adjust.
