The brake pedal is very hard and does not stop the car properly. I check the brakes and the fluid is good also. Any info

A "hard brake pedal" is a sign that the brake booster is not functioning correctly. The brake booster receives engine vacuum and when working properly allows the pedal effort required to stop the car less. Have it checked out as it sounds like the pedal effort is great and the stopping distance will be increased.
The answer to a hard pedal with little or no power assist is probably your vacume booster, provided it is getting enough engine vacume.
Brakes booster , check hose that runs from cab to brakes booster for leak , the problem here is air.
