You may need to replace the fuel line containing the fitting in question on your 1996 Buick Le Sabre. If the fuel line goes to the fuel tank the tank will need to be removed to replace the line. If the fitting at the fuel filter is leaking perhaps the seals inside the fitting are damaged. Depending on the type of fitting you may be able to replace the seals.
