Great service. Friendly people. I would just like to have my oil change sticker reflect the correct mileage of next oil change, for once. I pay for a 10,000 mile oil change and my sticker reflects I need a oil change at 3,000 mile point. Considering I depend on that sticker to remember when I need the next oil change, I would like to see my sticker reflect the correct mileage.

They attempted to charge for unauthorized repairs, didn't fix the vehicle until 3rd trip and then because if there laziness the 1st time they ruined the filters and tried to recharge me again for work they should have done the 1st time

I haven't given up on this shop I think they need to test drive test drive with all customers and after all repairs but not at the customers expense a shop Forman to do the test drives.

The work was well done, and for the most part, fairly priced. $50 charge for cleaning a K&N filter was too high, considering I supplied the cleaning kit. But, I feel more confident than that from a dealer.

I just replaced a battery in my car with a Wal-Mart battery. I had it towed to their shop and they replaced the battery for me and gave me the other battery back so I could get a refund. They are very friendly and very attentive. I didn't feel like I was just another job.

Is the transmission experiencing any problems, or are you going off what this individual told you based on his experience? If you are not having any problems and the transmission is operating and functioning properly. Then I would not worry about it. Some people will say things with no regard to how it affects the owner of the vehicle. The truth be know, your trans may go forever of may fail in a month or two, but the same can be said for any vehicle. On a service it is normal to have some metal on the magnet of the transmission pan. I wouldn't worry about it unless you are having problems. If you want to replace it. I would also recommend a reman 3yr /100k mile warranty over a local transmission builder. But that is just my opinion.

There is a module called the GEM module that controls the remote key function, and the PATS< OR PASSIVE ANTI THEFT SYSTEM. I would suspect that to be the cause, I can check that with the IDS of fords factory scan tool. If the vehicle thinks it is being stolen then it will disable the start function. Could be related.

The fuel pump screen is attached to the in tank fuel pump to keep debris from entering the fuel pump. If you don't want to mess with it you do have another filter on the car that will protect the rest of the engines fuel system. But sadly the fuel pump will have no protection. I would recommend replacing both the fuel pump and the fuel pump screen while you have the tank down it is very labor intensive by your self to drop a fuel tank not to mention dangerous. Good luck. Some times you can access the seat belt latch with the seat forward but you may damage or mark either the seat or the seat track. So it would be better to remove the seat as not to damage any part of the interior.

I agree, a heater core will not cause an intermittant stall condition as you are experiencing. Sounds more like fuel or Ignition, meaning ignition module, cam and crank sensors, ignition coil, fuel pump for example. I would recommend you get a professional diagnosis from a dependable shop, BBB listings are a good way to find reputable shops. Good Luck.

Sounds like a common problem, sometimes when an air filter is replaced either the MAF sensor or IAT sensor can come unplugged, Both of these can affect the fuel and throttle response. I would check for any stray plugs or wire connections that are just hanging around the air tube and or the filter box.

Yes, you can buy a replacement cluster from the dealer, or you can have yours replaced, look in the yellow pages for someone who rapairs radios and insturment clusters, should cost about $150.00 - $250.00, the insturment bezel just pops off you may need to unplug a few switches which may be alittle difficult. Then it is just plug and play.
