Rookie cbe0621eac06868b3efe0d8d1d3611e23c60d3114864ea2ec19a68cfbd3eebab
after driving 2 hours towing a boat my parking lights and instrument lights went out. Blown fuse. Replaced and 10 seconds later it blew again. replaced fuse then lasted for 1/2 hour. Rewired wireingharness for 4flat hitch, somtimes it blows fuse someting not that fast. Noticed door light in panel was not working so i unpluged it.

If it only happened when the trailer is connected, then you may have a short in the trailer wiring, or the addition of the trailer lights is too much amperage load for the circuit.
No, I disconected the 4flat and reconnected the conectors and then re-taped that and it still blows fuses. So the hitch wires are not the concern.
