Fuel filter is easy to replace and should be replaced anyway at 30 to 60,000 miles as a maintenance item. The fuel pump are somewhat reliable on that Acura it is usually the fuel pressure relay behind the dash that fails. You need to check for fuel pump when the engine is being cranked over, if it has power the pump is likely bad if there is no power the relay must be tested. Honda call it the main relay or PGMFI relay.
Autozone have some popular workshop manuals for free on line once you register (for free) on their website http://bit.ly/autozone_repair_info or there is a company that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers.
