Noise ,rattle in the front right wheel or under the front right door area on bumpy uneven roads ,no noise on highway .
Had all new shocks and struts replaced, and noise coming from right front strut was still noticeable. Then had upper strut mounts replaced with new, and a year later, had new right front strut and mounting plate replaced again, among other new front end parts, and it still squeaks. Even had new rear coil springs replaced in rear because it sits so low it looks like it is hauling a load when in fact it is empty. Three years post purchase and it still squeaks. It will squeak even when pushing down on the right (passenger) front corner of the car. Very annoying, and disappointing considering it's a "Volvo", and despite meticulous care.
Hate to throw the baby out w/ the bath water, but will very likely never buy another Volvo.
I do hear a rattling and or clanking noise on my right front wheel on most bumps. I have not had it looked at yet, I just had the car since 11/23/13.
Had a clunking noise over bumps, was told I need new control arm bushings and struts front and rear. Had work done, $2400
makes noise when hitting a bump on the front drivers side. Only know where it's coming from because my boyfriend made me sit in the car and went to each side and pushed down on the car until i recognized the noise. I hope this is an easy fix, i think i'm in love with this car.
right front 'knocking' when going over bumps. I need help with the correct way to fix this issue. Thanks
