Q: front end loose on 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

My front end seems loose and wobbly my tires are really wearing on the inside. What is causing this? 130000 mi

Have the suspension checked out, there are ball joints, bushings and other parts that can be worn out. This sounds potentially dangerous, and it should be looked at very soon.
Stop by any place that does alignments, they put it on a lift and tell you that they cant align it because of bad parts and will give you a price quote to fix it.
Have your front stabilizers looked at. I had similar issue, front tires had massive inside wear - sloppy and loose steering. Have it looked at soon, because the Sport Trac is already know for being a roll over hazard - you don't want the added pressure of a shot front end
