DO I NEED SPECIAL TOOLS TO REMOVE ROTOR OFF OF THE SPINDLE IN THE FRONT?

The front hub/rotor assembly on your 2002 Chevrolet Express van uses a cotter pin to hold the wheel bearing adjusting nut on. Removing the cotter pin and adjusting nut should allow you to remove the hub assemble. The rotor is part of the hub assembly. You should plan on repacking the front wheel bearings and replacing the grease seals if you remove the hub.
