If front axle boot is heavily damaged on front wheel drive auto (Acura), does axle need replacing or only if axle is making a clicking noise?

Axle ‘assembly’ replacement is the only route to take!

More labor is involved if just the boot is replaced - thus costing about the same amount of money in the end ..

Axle replacement is the only *logical* repair!
