A hose that attaches to the engine oil cooler may detach and leak engine oil. This can cause a fire hazard. This can additionally cause the engine to lose oil pressure, and cause the engine to fail. Engine failure could result in an accident.

Recall repairs on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. Ford will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in December, 2016.
