Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2014 ford f-150 and e-350, 2014-2015 ford escape, and 2015 lincoln mkc vehicles. improperly manufactured bolts may have been used to install certain seats, seatbacks, seatbelt buckles, or seatbelt anchors on these vehicles.

The bolts that secure the seat belt anchors to the body of the vehicle may fracture, resulting in occupants of the vehicle not being secure in an accident. This would result in increased risk of injury.

Recall repairs on your Ford or Lincoln must be performed by a Ford or Lincoln dealership. Ford will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in August, 2017. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford or Lincoln dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
