2007 Ford Edge Recall Details
The passenger frontal air bag assembly is deployed by an inflator which contains propellant that makes the air bag deploy. This propellant may degrade over time, especially when exposed to humidity and temperature cycling. As a result, the inflator may rupture on deployment, which can send metal shrapnel through the air bag, striking vehicle occupants. This could result in serious injury or death.
Recall repairs on your Ford, Mercury or Lincoln must be performed by a Ford or Lincoln dealership. Ford will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in February 2017. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford or Lincoln dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Ford recall number is 17S01.

A fuel leak may develop due to corrosion on the tank.
This recall will begin December 8, 2014, designated repairs are expected to be performed free of charge by the dealer. If you notice a gasoline odor, detect a fuel leak, or don't receive notification in a timely manner and believe you should have, please contact your dealer for further instruction.
