Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain model year 2003-2005 ford crown victoria and mercury grand marquis vehicles manufactured october 3, 2001, to august 2, 2005. the affected vehicles have a lighting control module (lcm) that may fail, resulting in a loss of headlights.

The headlights may fail to operate because of a failure of the lighting control module. This can cause reduced visibility and increased risk of an accident.

Recalls on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. Ford will begin notifying owners of affected vehicles starting in January 2016. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford dealerships. They will also check for any other uncompleted recalls on your vehicle.
