Start with the basics, i.e. check all of your fuses and make SURE that the light bulbs work!. I just had a car this week that had light problems and it was just a bunch of burned out bulbs, so as stupid as it may sound, CHECK all of your bulbs. Then, if they are all ok and the fuses are good, then you need to inspect each circuit, i.e. the interior lights, the door chime, the tail lights etc or have a shop do it if you do not know how.
