is check engine light on? have you checked for codes? even if check engine light is not on could have bad bulb in dash and still have codes showing possible problem. mine was missing at a stop and turned out to have random cylinder misfire code. this could be caused by a lot of stuff but most common is spark plug wires, spark plugs or distributor cap and rotor.
