(2002 Chevrolet Malibu)
in Stockbridge, GA on August 20, 2009
Have a 2002 Chevy Malibu. CLicking noise is coming from the engine. Wife's car, after this happened she mentioned that the oil light came on (a couple of days) ago, but says she added oil...) Anyway, car has 100K, and has not had timing belt changed yet. Think that is it? Or is it something else? Any helpwill be appreciated.

Well it's not the timing belt because this car uses a timing chain. If the engine was run low on oil, there is the possibility that some engine damage as occured. I suggest you get a shop to diagnose this right away before more damage occurs, if this is the case.
