Engine changeover

Old motor locked up and truck has Manual Trans. Found another motor same as old, but with A/T. Will these motors switch without a lot of difficulty because of different trans?

First thing to check is the pilot bushing/bearing hole that is located at the rear of the crankshaft on the auto trans engine has been properly machined to accept the bushing/bearing or bushing either one you use the pilot shaft on the manual trans will need to be inserted into it
