Ehat could cause truck not to start when it rains?

(1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500)

when it rains it will crank but not start but if you spray starting fliud in the air box it starts or wait til next day it will start distributor cap been changed and fuel pump

With the engine running, get a household spray bottle (like a Windolene glass cleaner bottle or tile and bath tube cleaner) fill it with water, engine running gently mist water over the spark plug wires and distributor car and see if the engine idle changes, if it changes as you spray a certain spark plug wire you have found the wire that has poor insulation and a new spark plug wire set is needed.

Its usually ignition problem like old wires that cause this type of system. If equipped check coil.
