Engine starts fine, under load it bogs and hesitates.when heavy acceleration, engine missfires. Spark plugs get carbon fouled.

Hello,
Which engine do you have. I don't think the ranger had TFI before 1991, and I need to know if your vehicle uses vacuum advance.
I think you may have a timing issue, restrictive intake, restrictive exhaust, or the engine control system is running you rich.

Hello Casey, It's a 1989 with whith a 2.9 engine . I accelerates poorly under load. And no vaccum advance. Thanx.
