Driver Seat Malfunction

(2006 Hyundai Tiburon)
in Salisbury, MD on January 20, 2009
I recently got an issue where my driver seat back will not lock into place. Does anyone know how to repair this? I would imagine it's something with the side lever being off it's hinge. If anyone has any idea please let me know!

This happened to me, all I did was lower the back of the seat as far as it would go and the locking gear engaged. Works fine now.

Seat motor and Track are combined as an assembly, using motors, gears and cables. Seat will have to be removed to inspect seat cables.

If this problem has not been solved yet, this has happened to me multiple times, and I always solve it by sliding the seats all the way forward on the rails then pushing them as absolutely far down as they can go backwards. There should be a click and then they should work. Again, this has happened to both of my seats multiple times and this always works for me, though I am not sure what exactly causes it.
