Is the starter motor spins and engages?
What happens exactly? When you turn the key can you hear the starter motor turning?
Is it spinning fast, without the motor cranking? Is there a grinding sound?
possible faults:
1, the starter spins fast, but the solenoid won't engage the gear. You need to replace the starter solenoid or the complete starter.
2, the starter work correctly, spins, engages, but won't crank the engine ( possible grinding noise) damaged tooth on the flywheel.
Let us know what happens exactly.
