Door lubriction

(1999 Chevrolet Malibu)
THE DOORS ON MY '99 CHEVY MALIBU SQUEEKE WHENEVER I OPEN OR CLOSE MY DOORS. I HAVE TRIED LUBRICATING THE EXPOSED HINGES WITH NO SUCCESS. HOW CAN I LUBRICATE THE HINGES THAT ARE ENCLOSED IN THE RUBBER ACCORDIAN WRAP? THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS!

The rubber "accordion wrap" contains the wires passing from the body to the door of your 1999 Chevrolet Malibu. It is not likely the squeak is coming from there. My guess would be the "door check" is causing your noise. The door check is the metal bar that slides in and out of the door when you open and close it. Try spraying some lube into the door where the metal bar enters the door. Lube both the top and bottom of the door check.
