Does the timing chain have to be removed to change my water pump?

The timing chain DOES NOT need to be removed to to change the water pump. It should take a certified technician about 2.5 - 3.0 hours to replace the water pump. The fan shroud, fan, accessory drive belt will need to be removed. The cooling system should be flushed at this time and refilled with fresh coolant once the repair is complete.

Thanks. A certified tech. Should be able to change the water pump in about 2.5 he's. What about a redneck plumber?

nope,case of beer,i quart of MAD-DOG-20-20,PEACH FLAVORED,and 10 cigaretts,then 1 hour

Depends......is the beer regular or lite? Could add or subtract a few minutes.
