What has prompted you to consider the transmission as the culprit for this harshly jerking sensation?

How about an engine misfire or misfires?

Engine misfire(s) will occur more frequently when engine is warm and is under a load such as “going up hill at higher speeds”..

Only via *hands-on* TESTING by qualified personnel can the actual failure be discovered.
