A honk, hiss, or groan noise may be noted from the steering during low speed parking lot maneuvers. Our technicians tell us that replacing the power steering return hose may correct this concern, If it does not the steering rack and pinion may require replacement.

Exhaust & Emissions -- Verified

On vehicles equipped with V6 engines, the Check Engine Light may illuminate and code P0339 is stored for intermittent loss of the crankshaft position sensor signal. Our technicians tell us that adding a shim to the crankshaft sensor will commonly correct this issue but in some cases the flex plate may require replacement.

Brakes -- Verified

The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) warning light may flash, or the pump may howl or groan after a turn. Our technicians tell us that updated anti-lock brake system control module software is available for these concerns.

Suspension & Steering -- Verified

A slight vibration in the steering wheel may be noted at freeway speeds. Our technicians tell us removing the assembly retainers on the brake rotors/drums and reinstalling the wheels can correct this issue.

Engine -- Verified

The supplemental restraint system, commonly called the "airbag", consists of several "bags" that are very quickly inflated to help protect the vehicle occupants in the event of a crash. An on board computer uses information from various sensors to determine if and when the airbags should deploy. The affected vehicles may have a poor electrical connection in the front seat which could affect deployment of the side airbags and/or cause the airbag warning light to illuminate. Dealers will replace the airbag withing harness in both the driver and passenger front seats to correct this concern.

It's possible that the key can be removed from the ignition switch prior to placing the shifter in "Park," which can cause unintended vehicle movement. Dealers will inspect and replace the Win module free of charge.
