Side Air Bags May Not Deploy as Expected
21 vehicles may have damaged side window air bags. These air bags may not deploy correctly, increasing the risk of injury to the seat occupant.
Due to the number of vehicles involved, this could be considered a medium priority recall, which would change to high if your vehicle is involved. Please contact your Dodge dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
21 vehicles may have side window air bags where the module diffuser material contains hairline cracks. These air bags may not deploy as designed, increasing the risk of injury to the seat occupant. Dealers will replace the affected air bag modules. This recall began on July 16, 2007. The Chrysler recall number is G20.

ON CERTAIN TRUCKS, THE SIDE WINDOW AIR BAG MODULE DIFFUSER MATERIAL MAY CONTAIN HAIRLINE CRACKS.
IN THE CASE OF A CRASH WITH A TRIGGER SIGNAL FOR THE WINDOW BAG MODULE, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SUCH A DIFFUSER MAY CRACK AT THE BEGINNING OF THE AIR BAG ACTIVATION INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURY TO THE SEAT OCCUPANT.
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE RIGHT, LEFT, OR BOTH SIDE WINDOW AIR BAG MODULES. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JULY 16, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DCC AT 1-843-695-5041.
