Q: do i need to replace floor plates & bearings while changing my clutch on 1995 Toyota Celica

I am not sure what you are describing as floor plate bearings. When replacing the clutch you should replace the clutch disc, pressure plate, release bearing, pilot bearing if applicable, inspect the flywheel for damage (surface if required), inspect the engine and transmission mounts as you reassemble everything and replace them if they are damaged.
