Q: dash fan out? on 2001 Mercedes-Benz C240

Anybody have this happen? AC light goes on but fan dosent work. Was hoping someone had an idea how to fix this one.

There are a number of reasons why a blower doesn't work. Could be a failed control panel, a burnt fuse, a failed blower motor, a failed relay or a bad connection somewhere. There's probably an electronic control module in the system, too.
First thing to do is check to see if there's power and ground at the blower motor connector. If you have power and ground and the motor doesn't spin, the motor's failed. If there's no power or ground, you need to look deeper.

Thanks, turned out it was the resiestor switch(knob itself) and it was a $290 dollar part. I think mercedes parts are a rip off. Doesnt want to make me buy another one in the future.
