Dash brake light on

(1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500)
in South Whitley, IN on March 06, 2010
I have a 1994 Silverado that when you push hard on the brake pedal with the engine running the dash brake light comes on.

If you shut off the engine, but have the ignition on and apply the brake pedal the light goes out.

I pulled the bias switch connector and the light did not go out.

I adjusted up the rear brakes to shorten the pedal travel

I bled the brakes with no help.

Is this an antilock problem.

Thank you in advance for your time.
