(1990 Buick Regal)

I actually have a 1985 buick regal but the engine is all I am concerned about, can I change the front main bearing on the Crankshaft with out changing the rear one?

this is done by removing the oil pan; about 6 hours labor, which exceeds the value of the car. done right,
you would plastiguage all the bearings and likely replace them all. after all, they are 26 years old.
