They did a poor job of diagnosing the problem and they were way over priced. Their estimate was too high. It was nine hundred some dollars. I took it to another shop to have it done.

They guarantee the work and they will fix anything, they don't charge you and tell you something else is wrong and fix it. They are good mechanics. They give you diagnostics and hold off on what isn't necessary at the time.

I had gone to several places and they told me that I needed new struts on my wife's car which is six hundred dollars for repair. I went to Craig's to get it done, and he checked, and he said you're fine. I trust Craig's totally. Anytime I need things done, I drop it off to Craig's to fix it.

Good morning,
If it fails then starts working again It may just be water/soap getting on the belt from the high pressure sprayers. This could be a sign of a worn belt or the belt tensioner that is supposed to keep it tight at all times.
what is the cost to repair all the timing ...
The 2003 Ford Explorer engines are 4.0/4.6 or 5.0 and are all timing chains and do not use the timing belt set up. One of the 4.0 engines is a pushrod motor that uses a older style small chain and the others use the full chain from head to head. These are not replaced for maintenance. If there has been a problem it should be inspected first and see what repairs are needed to get it fixed in the most affordable way possible.
What reason would there be for car to jerk...

Could be worn motor mounts,A engine misfire,or an actual transmission problem. I would first start by seeing if any dash lights are on or codes in the different computers. Next are all the fluids full and clean, have any new fluid spots started showing up on the ground. See what these show and make repairs or continiou with the inspection process until the problem is found.
Readiness OBD codes on Volvo s90 are reset...
Same as the last, but i'll add it may also set traction control and or anti lock brake codes since just one set of wheels will not be turning. Part of the drive cycle is also looking for percent of load on the engine. vehicle must be driven through two (2) complete OBD drive cycles without any fault codes stored in order to clear the I/M Readiness Status.

In theory you can, but in reality it would end up costing more in the long run. Just bolting things up can be a real challenge when using two different engine sizes. PLus the way they operate is different where the electronics are and valve train is concerned. This was only used in the Lacrosse and Impala if memory serves me right along with the 3.8. Can I ask what happened that lead to the diagnosis or a bad motor?

If your car has an automatic transmission, start by checking the fluid level. If it is even just a quart low it can cause that sudden jerk when trying to pull away from a stop. Read your owners book to see what type of fluid to use, or better yet stop by a trusted repair facility and ask them to see if it is low and if there are any leaks.
I've notice water on the floor on pass...
Hi, at a glance is the water clean? Or does it look red or green and does it have any smell? It may just be condensation from your cars air conditioning system. It normally goes out via, a small drain hole leading outside of the car. If it becomes clogged up then you can get that excess buildup of water.
Key will not come out of ignition
could be a worn key lock cylinder or the shifter interlock is not going all the way into park. With your foot on the brake and the car off ,try to move the shifter from lower gear back to park with a little speed in mvoing the shifter.Or you can push on the shifter into the park postion ,then try to turn the key to the off postion and see if it will come out. If the key is in the off postion then the lock cylinder may be worn and not allowing the tumblers to release the key.

What you are feeling is the front tires or wheel are out of ballancee or out of round. Try having the tires ballanced and the wheels inspected. Also at the same time they shoud inspect your cars suspention for any loose or worn parts.
